Creating and copying a report
Saving, copying, and setting the default for filters and views (template).
Last updated 20 days ago
The report saves your selected filters, columns, sorting, summary metrics, and chart settings. It does not store a copy of the report data; therefore, the result is recalculated based on current Hanna records each time it is opened.
Open the closest existing report, adjust its view, and select the save action. Give it a clear name that indicates its purpose and scope—for example, My Team's Overdue Tasks. If you are modifying a team variant that is already in use, first select Copy this report and save your changes to the copy.
Relative time periods, such as "this month," are convenient for recurring reports. Use specific dates for one-off historical analysis. Before saving, check to ensure no unintended customer, status, or currency filters remain.
You can edit your report later and set it as the default. The default variant opens when you click the report group name. Remove unused or outdated personal templates items to keep the list clear.
