In the Add Items section, you can select an Item from the catalog, an Item set, or enter a line manually. The catalog Item can automatically populate the code, name, description, unit of measure, price, VAT, photo, and warehouse. However, always check each field—customer pricing, the last sales price, or warehouse rules may alter the suggested value.

In the line, specify:

  1. the Item or service name;
  2. the description and code, if they are to appear in the document;
  3. the warehouse, when the Item is tracked as inventory;
  4. the quantity and unit of measure;
  5. the unit price;
  6. the VAT rate;
  7. the discount.

The button with the checkmark confirms the line. At the bottom, the system displays the amount, discount, and final total. If you change the price with VAT, the VAT rate, or the calculation based on the total amount, re-verify the intermediate and final values. Use Invoice (Reverse Charge) only when there is an accounting basis for doing so. VAT (Applicable Articles) allows you to specify the applicable article in the document. Items (Unit Price Entered with VAT) changes how the price field is interpreted. VAT (Calculate from Total Amount) can alter the rounding result in a multi-line document.

The document layout is controlled by the options Show Discount in PDF, Show Only Total Amount in PDF, and Show Items Photos in Document. These do not change the actual amount due, except through calculation settings. Before sending, open the PDF to verify that all necessary information is displayed to the client.
