The Sales price is the default catalog amount. The Cost helps assess the margin and is visible only to users with the appropriate permissions. The Minimum sales price is used for price control. The price is selected from rates created by the administrator.
A price type of Number indicates a fixed price. Percentage of total creates a line item with a value based on other lines in the document. If a specific item should not be included in this calculation base, enable the Exclude from percentage calculation option on its item card.
On the Pricing tab of the item card, click Price Levels, select a price level group, and specify the price or discount. You can also set quantity thresholds and validity periods. Price level groups are created in the Module Options section of the administration menu.
Before applying a new rule to multiple customers, create a test sales document to verify the customer, quantity, date, currency, item, and final price.
How to check the applied price
Open the customer card and identify their assigned price group. In the Items pricing tab, locate the row for that group and check the minimum quantity and validity dates. Then, in the sales document, select the same customer and Item, and enter the exact quantity. If the result differs from the base price, compare the discount, currency, and document date.
When changing the cost price, remember that it is intended for internal analysis. Change the sales price for the customer separately. If the organization prohibits selling below a set limit, the minimum price may trigger a warning or prevent you from proceeding, in accordance with team member and permissions.
