Calendar settings for administrators

Working hours, record types, colors, completed records, and general settings.

Last updated 20 days ago

Open Calendar in the administration settings. Here, you configure the start and end of the workday, default views for the main and secondary calendars, the first day of the week, card display, monthly card size, and the visibility of weekends.

In the record types section, enable the relevant options (e.g., Projects). Decide separately for each type whether to display completed records. Project options and certain limits regarding working hours and resources depend on your plan.

In the color section, choose a general color or opt for color-coding based on type, status, or region. You can also set specific colors for projects. Color coding aids navigation but does not alter record status or functionality.

Note the previous value before changing a general setting. After making a change, verify the setup for administrators, accounts inheriting settings, and users with personal exceptions. Enabling a feature makes it available, but individual users still only see data permitted by their specific access permissions.

Setup Sequence

First, define the working hours and the weekly schedule. Then, enable only the record types that are actually in use. In the third step, select the card density and coloring rule. Finally, check the Day, Month, and Schedule views using several different permissions accounts.

If a specific Staff type does not appear after being enabled, do not change colors or filters while trying to identify the cause. Instead, check the module permissions, the plan, the organization boundary, and whether the record has a start date. If you modify the display settings for completed records, consider how this will affect PDFs from previous periods and the team plan.
