Project Card and Its Tabs
Overview, related records, counters, and the Actions menu.
Last updated 20 days ago
When you open a project, the Project Overview is displayed first. Here, you will see key information, progress, project participants, allocated time, a budget summary, and—if permissions allow—statistics.
The card may include Tasks, Issues, Objects, Milestones, Allocated Time, Stages, Files, Gantt Chart, Resources, Contracts, Documents, Notes, Emails, Calendar, and Action History. The Finance drop-down menu contains Invoices, Expenses, Project Costs, Revenue, and the Project Budget. The visible tabs depend on your user role and enabled modules. The number next to a title indicates the quantity of linked records but does not allow you to open them.
The action menu offers options to edit, copy, create a related project, prepare a quote, copy the link, export, or delete. The "New Task" icon opens the form for a new task with the project pre-selected. If the tab is empty, check its module filters and permissions. Project view access does not automatically grant access to Invoices, Documents, or Contracts.
How to use the card
Use the Project view for a quick status assessment, Tasks for execution, the Gantt chart and Calendar for dates, and the Action History for changes. Check financial details in the Budget, Expensese, and financial document tabs, as the figure in the Project view is merely a summary.
If there are many tabs, the numbers next to them help you select the right area. These numbers may load after the card is opened, so wait a moment before concluding that there is no content.
