Imported payments and their recognition

When bank or accounting imports are enabled, incoming transactions first appear in the imported payments review section. The system may suggest a customer and an unpaid document based on the payment details, but you should verify everything yourself before confirming.

Check the date, amount, currency, payer, transaction ID, payment reference, and the suggested Invoice or Proforma Invoice. If the document is unclear, leave the transaction unprocessed or create an overpayment only after the customer has been confirmed.

When re-uploading the same bank file, it is essential to check for duplicates. If the integration reports an error, first use the search function to verify whether the payment has already been created before attempting the import again.

Available import formats and buttons depend on the integrations enabled in your organization. Follow the agreed accounting review process for unrecognized transactions.

If the integration error persists or the payment cannot be identified through the agreed accounting process, send Hanna Customer Support the import source, transaction date and time with time zone, amount, currency, anonymized transaction ID, and exact error text. Do not send the complete bank file, sign-in credentials, or other customers' transactions.
