Calendar Modules and Colors

In the **Show in Calendar** section, select which module entries should be displayed in the Calendar. You can control the display of Projects, Opportunities, and Tasks. Project options depend on the plan being used. On the **Entry Colors** tab, you can select a general color for Tasks and Projects. Colors help to quickly distinguish between entry types in the Calendar.

Projects and Tasks in the Calendar

Completed Projects and completed Tasks can be included using separate toggles. Enable them if you want to see not only upcoming work but also the history of completed activities in the Calendar. If only the active plan matters, you can hide completed entries.

These toggles do not delete entries. Nor do they grant additional viewing permissions: users will only see the Projects and Tasks they are permitted to view. If an entry is missing, check the module toggle, Calendar filters, and user access permissions.

Task and Project Colors

Items can also be color-coded:

  • By type – uses the assigned type color;
  • By status – uses the assigned status color;
  • By region – appears only in accounts that use regions and applies to correctly linked entries.

Choose a single rule that makes sense for your organization. If your team assigns work based on the nature of the activity, "Type" is convenient; if workflow progress is paramount, use "Status"; if planning is based on territories, use "Region." The general Task color is used when a more specific rule does not specify a color.

After making changes, review the active, completed, and various types of Tasks entries to ensure the colors remain easily distinguishable.
