Calendar view, work limits, and item cards
In the **Default view** field, select how the Calendar should open for team member: **Day**, **Week**, **Month**, or **Agenda**. The **Calendar event limit** determines how many entries are displayed at once for a single day in Month and Week views. The remaining entries are not removed; instead, they are shown in a collapsed format and can be expanded. The **Calendar entry display style** specifies how to display entries scheduled for the same time.

Default view and first day of the week
In the First day of the week field, you can select a specific day of the week. If you select Current day, the displayed period begins today—which is convenient for planning the days ahead.
Use Hide weekends if Saturday and Sunday are not regular working days. This option merely hides the weekend columns; items scheduled for the weekend are not deleted.
These are the organization's default settings. In the Calendar settings, you can choose your own view, start of the week, or weekend visibility.
Event limit and workday boundaries
Workday start and Workday end define the organization's standard working hours. These values are used not only in the Calendar view but also when suggesting times for new items and during certain planning processes.
Number of working hours per day defines daily capacity. In some plans, you can also set the Number of items per day and Number of resources per day. These limits help assess workload and the Gantt chart.
Ensure the start and end times align with the daily hour limit. After making changes, check the timing and workload display of the new Task.
Displaying overlapping entries and Month cards
The Calendar entry display style determines how entries scheduled for the same time are shown:
- Parallel – entries are displayed side-by-side, making it easy to compare their timing;
- Overlapping – cards partially overlap, leaving more width for the timeline.
In the Task card size in month view field, select how much text should fit on the card: compact (one line), standard (two lines), or expanded (three lines). Default retains the system's standard size.
Compact cards and a lower event limit are usually more convenient for a crowded Calendar. If seeing more information at a glance is important, choose a larger card size. A team member can change these display options in their Calendar settings.
