Period, target, and progress

Selecting periods and calculating goal progress.

Last updated 20 days ago

You can select a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual period for the goal. The start date determines the beginning of the first period. The end date limits the overall duration of the goal; if left blank, the periods repeat.

The target is the quantity or amount you wish to achieve within a single period. The progress percentage is calculated by dividing the current result by the target. Once the target is reached, 100% is displayed, even if the actual result is higher. Always check the card to see the date range for the current period.

Choose the period based on the frequency of decisions. Daily goals are suitable for operational tasks, weekly goals for team rhythms, monthly goals for sales, and longer periods for strategic metrics. Results from previous periods can be found in the goal history.
