Shared vs. Individual Team Goal
Team target, individual quota, and team member assignment.
Last updated 20 days ago
The assigned team members determine whose records are counted and who receives goal notifications. A shared goal has a single target value for the entire selected team. If you set a shared goal of 30 for three team members, their results are aggregated and compared against that target of 30.
If an individual target is selected, the entered number applies to each team member. If the individual target is 10 and three members are assigned, the aggregate result is compared against a total of 30. The team percentage can be achieved even if individual contributions vary; therefore, for personal comparisons, use the individual view or set separate goals.
When modifying the team member list mid-period, remember that the scope of the calculation changes—and in the case of an individual goal, the total target value changes as well.
