Calendar Settings and Personal Preference Inheritance

You can find the calendar settings by selecting **Settings → Calendar**. Here, you can configure the organization's general calendar view, working hours, displayed entries, and the types and colors of external calendars. While the organization administrator defines the general calendar view, individual users can customize parts of it for themselves. Access personal settings via the gear icon in the calendar.

Calendar Settings and Their Purpose

The screen contains two tabs:

  • General – synchronization, working hours, views, and modules displayed in the Calendar;
  • Entry Colors – color rules for entries and projects.

After changing values, click Save. Users can also personally select settings for the view, start of the week, entry layout, Month view card, and weekend display. In such cases, their personal choice takes precedence over the organization's default value.

The module display toggle does not alter access permissions. Each user will continue to see only the entries accessible to them in the Calendar.

Personal Calendar Settings and Inheritance

Users can select:

  • the main Calendar view;
  • the secondary Calendar view;
  • the first day of the week;
  • parallel or overlapping entry display;
  • the size of the Month view card;
  • weekend display.

By choosing to inherit the organization's settings, any future changes made by the administrator are automatically applied to the user. If a specific personal setting is selected, it takes precedence. Therefore, if the general setting for a specific item has not changed, check the personal settings first.

Synchronized types, workday boundaries, displayed modules, and general colors remain based on the organization's settings.
