Object Links to Projects, Contracts, and Documents
You can link an object to multiple projects and contracts. Linked records appear on both cards. If a link is no longer needed, simply remove it—this does not delete the project or contract itself.
The Documents tab displays documents linked to the object. Depending on the configuration, items such as quotes, orders, and invoices may also be shown. Each linked module retains its own statuses and actions. Creating a link does not alter the amounts or status of a financial document.
Settings for Object Types, Statuses, Fields, and Permissions
Open the Objects section in the system settings. Under Types, create object groups and define their name, color, display order, and active status; an object can have multiple types. Under Statuses, define the workflow stages and the default status; an object has a single status.
Adjust the visibility and order of standard fields in the module field settings, and create new fields in the additional fields section. Separately assign view, create, edit, and delete permissions based on roles. After changing the settings, check the new and existing object using the standard team member account.
