Document card, statuses, and actions
Card data, tabs, two types of states, and actions.

Open the document card by clicking its name in the list. In the main section, you will see the document ID, type, category, numbers, dates, organization, assignees, and description. If the document has a preview-ready main file or a generated PDF, it is displayed on the card.
The card contains the following tabs: Details, Files, Document Approvers, Action History, and—when the service is active—Document Signing. The number next to a tab indicates the quantity of related records.
Note the two separate statuses. The Document Status describes the business stage within your organization. The Approval Status indicates whether approval has not started, is in progress, or if the document has been approved or rejected. Changing one status does not always change the other.
At the top, you can see the options to Edit, Generate PDF, Generate DOCX, and Delete. The available actions depend on the document content and your user permissions. Before deleting, check the files, metadata, approval status, and signature status. Before editing an approved document, ensure that you will be able to re-approve the new version.
