What you’ll do
When creating a new user, it is important to complete their profile and select the account type based on their intended work within the Hanna system.
Before you begin
Administrator access to user and account management is required. Before creating the user, decide on the account type, role, visible organizations, and default start page.
Creating a new user
Select System Settings → Users → User Management.
- Enter the first name, last name, and email address.
- If necessary, add the job title, phone number, email signature, and an image of the signature or stamp.
- Select the default organization, system language, and start page.
- Select the account type.
- On the Permissions tab, assign a role and visible organizations, and check the permissions matrix.
- Review the displayed information regarding the potential monthly fee.
- Save the user.
Hanna emails an invitation to a standard system user. After creating the account, verify that the team member received the email and can see only the modules and data relevant to their work.
Selecting the team member type
A Standard system user logs in and works according to the permissions granted via permissions.
A Dashboard-only user is intended for viewing summaries. They cannot create, edit, delete, or export data.
A Non-system user does not have a standard Hanna account. If you enable the Can be designated as responsible option, they can be selected as the assignee.
An Administrator has broad access to all standard areas of the system. A Super administrator has additional account management capabilities (Opportunities).
Choose the user type based on the actual work to be performed. Do not use administrator access simply to make a missing menu item appear for team member.
