Document Text Templates

Text template language, organization, type, variables, and PDF/DOCX verification.

Last updated 20 days ago

You can find text templates under Documents → Text Templates. In a template, you can configure the name, document title format, language, sequence, organizations, document type, content text, and table style. A DOCX template file can be used if needed.

Template variables insert data from the document and related records into the final document. Before using the template:

  1. link it to the appropriate document type and organization;
  2. check the title format and language;
  3. create a test document with realistic data;
  4. review the generated PDF and, if applicable, the DOCX file.

If you do not see the template on the document form, check the selected type, organization, and the template's active status. A file that has already been generated remains as a separate historical record; changes to the template apply to future generations.
