What you’ll do
The Opportunities card opens when you click its number or name in the list. The main section displays the process, stage, number, name, associated client or Lead, Contact person, dates, planned value, source, periodicity, assignees, documents, and description.
Before you begin
Access to the Opportunities module and the sales process in use is required. Permissions for creating, editing, changing stages, and performing final actions are restricted by your role and process settings.
Card sections
- Opportunity – key sales data and stage duration.
- Files – attachments and external file links associated with the record.
- Tasks – scheduled calls, meetings, reminders, or other tasks.
- Emails – a log of emails associated with the Opportunity.
- Notes – internal Staff notes.
- Action history – a record of significant changes and actions.
The number next to the tab indicates the count of related records found. Visible tabs may vary depending on enabled features and the configuration of each related module. Therefore, two instances of Staff within the same Opportunity may display different sets of tabs and records.
Changing the Stage
Click the desired stage on the card. The final stages are Approved and Rejected. When rejecting, selecting a reason and entering a comment may be mandatory. The stage change is recorded in the history and can:
- create a Task from a template;
- send a predefined email to selected recipients;
- change the stage of a linked Lead;
- trigger another automation configured by the administrator.
After the change, check not only the new stage but also the history, Tasks, and the sent email log. If the stage cannot be changed manually, the administrator may have enabled automatic stage management. In that case, the stage changes based on duration, the completion of a Task, or another configured event.
Actions Menu
Actions provides options for editing, converting, copying, importing Items lines, copying an email link, and—subject to permissions—deletion. The specific list depends on enabled modules and user permissions.
