Saving PDF files and changing settings safely

The file saving mode and general PDF settings affect newly generated documents; therefore, changes should be verified using a test PDF.

Saving the generated PDF file

For contracts, their annexes, and documents, you can choose to either overwrite the existing file or save each generated file with a timestamp.

The "new file" mode preserves previous versions but increases the total number of files. Overwriting keeps only the current version. This setting does not alter the document data itself, only how the generated file is saved.

Safely changing PDF settings

Note down the current values and prepare a short table, a long table, a multi-page contract, and a document containing a logo and signature.

Change one parameter at a time. Check the preview, the downloaded file, the printout, the email attachment, page breaks, and Lithuanian characters. Test the file saving mode first using a test document or contract.
