Creating and editing a new object
Click New record in the object list. Enter the name and, if applicable, the serial number. Select Contact and, if necessary, the department, Contact person, contract, and project.
Select the status, object type, and assignees. Fill in the address, city, country, installation date, warranty period, notes, and description. Before saving, check Contact and the assignees—these affect related records and visibility. After changing Contact, re-check Contact person, projects, and contracts.
Object card, status, tabs, and actions
Open the object card by clicking its name. In the overview, you will see Contact, status, types, assignees, address, dates, notes, and description. You can change the status directly on the card if you have editing permissions.
Tabs are displayed based on your permissions and enabled features. Typically, you will find Tasks, projects, working hours, files, notes, contracts, documents, a map, and action history. The actions menu allows you to edit, copy, or delete the object. Check all related tabs before deleting.
