Kanban sorting and automatic stages

You can choose the default Kanban order based on:

Last updated 20 days ago

  • creation date;
  • manual Kanban order;
  • last contact.

You can also choose ascending or descending order. Sorting does not change the stage—it only determines the order of cards within a column.

When Automatic stage switching is enabled, certain actions can move a record to a different stage:

  • an email, logged call, or note can move it to "Contacted";
  • creating a quote linked to a lead can move it to "Quote Sent".

The automation relies on the system function assigned to these stages. Do not change the process meaning of a stage when renaming it. Once the feature is enabled, inform your team about which actions trigger stage changes so that Kanban movements do not come as a surprise.
