OneDrive integration and backups

Security. Transfer passwords, API keys, or other credentials only through the secure method provided by Hanna Customer Support. Never paste a secret into an email or support request body.

Connect OneDrive storage

Open System Settings → Settings → Miscellaneous → External file storage integration. Enable OneDrive, choose the modules whose new files should use external storage, save, and select Connect OneDrive. Complete Microsoft authorisation using the organisation account that will own the files.

Backups and scanned mailboxes

If backups are enabled for the account, select the backup option among the external-storage modules. For a mailbox that stores attachments, open the Staff member's email settings, add or edit the mailbox, verify the connection, and enable file storage. Then configure the backup schedule and modules under System Settings → Settings → Data backups.

Confirm ownership, retention, capacity, and administrator access before rollout. Revoking authorisation stops future storage and may affect file access; it does not automatically migrate existing files.

Troubleshooting

Check account permissions, integration status, required fields, and the external system log. If the problem persists, send the attempt time, record or event identifier, and visible error to Hanna Customer Support, without credentials.
