Lead card and workflow

Card tabs, actions, Tasks, and the sales process flow.

Last updated 13 days ago

The card combines the Lead profile with all associated work. Open it by clicking the entry in the list or on the Kanban board.

Card tabs

  • Profile displays contact details, stage, source, assignees, creation and last Contact timestamps, sales potential, tags, and a description.
  • Tasks shows calls, meetings, and other scheduled actions. New Tasks are automatically linked to this prospect.
  • Notes are for internal context and summaries of agreements.
  • Emails display linked correspondence, provided the email feature is enabled and configured.
  • Financials show financial information related to the sales process and Opportunities, if available.
  • Contracts display linked contract records.
  • Reminders allow you to schedule an internal reminder for a specific team member.
  • Files store proposals, needs assessment documents, and other attachments.
  • History helps track changes and past actions.

The number of tabs depends on the plan, enabled modules, and user permissions. Each related tab checks its own module permissions. A team member may therefore be able to view a Lead without being able to view its contracts or financial records.

Actions menu

Depending on permissions and the enabled modules, the following actions are available in the card menu:

  • Edit – modify profile information.
  • Mark as lost – close a failed sale and specify the reason.
  • Mark as worthless – set aside an unsuitable or low-value Ticket.
  • Convert to Contact – create a new record in the Contacts module.
  • Assign Contact – link to an existing Contact.
  • Follow company – enable the company monitoring function, if available.
  • Delete Lead – remove an incorrect record (requires deletion permissions).
  1. Create the record and immediately assign an assignee.
  2. Verify the email, phone number, and company details to avoid creating a duplicate.
  3. Create the next Task. This way, the next planned date will be visible in the list.
  4. Add a note after Contact and update the stage.
  5. If the team member responsible (team member) changes, update the assignment and verify that the related Tasks have the correct assignees.
  6. Upon a positive result, convert to Contact; upon a negative result, mark as lost or worthless.

Sales potential

The sales potential displayed on the card is calculated based on the value of non-lost Opportunities items linked to the record. If the amount is unexpected, check the statuses and values of Opportunities in the Finance section.

Lost and worthless

Lost applies to a genuine sales attempt that was unsuccessful. Select the precise reason, as it is used for analysis. Worthless applies to an unsuitable, erroneous, or low-quality Ticket. If a record is marked this way by mistake, a "restore" action may be available in the card menu.

The list of reasons is managed by the administrator. Enter a brief, factual explanation in the comment so that the reason for concluding the process is clear later. These statuses preserve sales history and reporting data; a separate deletion action exists for erroneous technical records.
