Stage task templates and deadlines

A stage can automatically initiate the next workflow step. In its form, you can select one or more actions. Upon reaching the stage Lead, linked Tasks are created in accordance with templates.

The Change stage upon completion field allows the process to continue automatically. For example, a stage might involve "Contacting the client," and upon its completion, the process moves to the next stage.

You can also specify an allowed duration (in hours or days) for the stage. Once this time elapses, specific delay actions can be triggered.

Before enabling this:

  1. check the stage configuration itself;
  2. select a clear target stage;
  3. ensure the duration unit is correct;
  4. test what happens upon completion.

Start with a single stage and a single action. This prevents the creation of multiple similar actions for the same process instance.
