Color Palette in Reports

The shared palette can be used for templates and Dashboard reports (widgets), but individual settings may override it.

Report Palette

When creating a report or list, the active palette provides the default colors for the primary and comparative charts.

If the default color setting is retained, a chart may adopt a new color when the general palette is changed. If a specific custom color was selected, it may remain unchanged.

Therefore, changing the general palette will not necessarily standardize all previously created charts. If a consistent color is important for a specific chart, check its settings.

Palette Settings

The Use color palette for standard charts toggle controls whether certain standard charts use the selected general color sequence.

If Yes is selected, the palette applies to the Overview, Status and Forecast, and Project Status charts. If No is selected, these charts may use the colors assigned to module statuses. Some other widgets charts use the shared palette directly, so their appearance may change independently of this switch.
