Custom Sending Domain

Company address and DNS verification sequence.

Last updated 20 days ago

A custom domain allows automated emails from Hanna to be sent using your company's address. In the System Mailbox tab, select Company Email Address and enter the full address.

Once saved, Hanna displays the domain verification status. The person managing the DNS must enter the displayed DKIM and Return-Path records. Copy the specific values directly from your account—do not use an example from another company.

Verification sequence:

  1. enter the sender address;
  2. save the settings;
  3. provide the displayed DNS records to the domain administrator;
  4. wait for the DNS to update;
  5. return to the settings and check the status;
  6. send a test email.

If the status remains Pending, check the record type, name, and value, and verify that your DNS service provider has not automatically added the domain a second time. If emails end up in spam after verification, check the domain reputation, email content, and the recipient server's response.
