Purpose of miscellaneous settings
By selecting Settings → Miscellaneous, you can manage general Hanna behavior: the display of records, default values, search, reminders, record deletion, and duplicate control.
In the Security tab, you will find settings for passwords, browser sessions, two-factor authentication, and allowed IP addresses.
These changes apply to the entire account, so consider the impact on other users before saving. Changing settings requires administrator privileges or the appropriate "Edit Settings" permission.
Default values for records and users
In the Settings → Miscellaneous section, you can choose whether Hanna displays logos and whether the creator of a new record is automatically assigned as the team member responsible.
The Default user role is pre-selected when creating a new user. You can still change the role before saving. This setting does not affect the roles of users who have already been created.
If you want a standardized email signature, enable signature editing for administrators only. The email response time limit helps identify delayed responses in your email workflow; it does not automatically send an email.
Search, user display, and Project budget
Search result limit determines how many results the search field displays at once. If the record you need often does not appear among the first results, you can increase this limit.
User display in lists allows you to choose between showing a photo or the full name. Only the display changes—the underlying data remains the same.
If your account plan supports the advanced Projects feature, you can enable a full-width view for the Project budget form. A wider window does not affect calculations or data.
