Notification History and Troubleshooting
How to view the history and find the reason for an unscheduled or unsent message.
Last updated 13 days ago
Go to System Settings → Notifications → Notification History. The table displays the scheduled date, module, rule name, source record, type, recipient, recipient record, email or phone number, frequency, and the Sent field.
If a notification is missing from the history, check the following:
- whether the rule is enabled and its start date has already passed;
- whether the selected filters match the specific record;
- whether the record contains the date used for timing calculations;
- whether the record predates the Records created since setting;
- whether a notification for that record was already scheduled previously.
If the record appears in the history but has not been sent, check the recipient's email or phone number, the selected template, and the integration status. For the system notification Contact, the address column may be blank because the recipient is determined based on the team member account.
Changing the rule's timing or filters may cause future scheduled notifications to be regenerated. If the selection appears too broad, disable the rule, verify the conditions, and only then reactivate it.
